Here's how mine turned out.
Not too bad. I asked what color my daughter wanted and she said pink and purple. I didn't have the cool safety eyes or the sized called for by the pattern but I made due with what I had. It's an easy to follow pattern. I think I would like different legs, at least for the back. After my daughter found and played with it this morning she informed me that I have to make another so she can have a dragon family. She has this Melissa and Doug dragon who is apparently the mommy dragon and the pink dragon is the big sister so she needs a little sister.
I'm working on a crib set for my friend and hope to be done soon and post about that. I don't get to work on it a lot because the house we're in has thin walls so I can't sew when the kids are sleeping. So I've been crocheting. It's fun and I learn something new with each pattern. I've been crocheting for almost a year now, I think I started around last June. I was messing around online and found these incredible amigurumi and I had to make them! I taught myself by using one of those teach yourself crochet DVDs and online tutorials. If you don't know how to do something, Google it and see all the possibilities.
So cute! I really like this dragon pattern! You should try using a smaller needle (maybe finer yarn) with the same pattern and see if it makes it smaller, to be the little sister of course!
